Welcome to the magical village of Moustiers-Sainte-Marie! Here we are nestled at the bottom edge of the Alpes-de-Haute-Provence department where alpine peaks tumble southward into the Var. This spot is marked by France’s largest canyon, the Gorges de Verdon. Here the river that gives the canyon its name carves through ancient limestone to form a deep canyon dotted with sparkling reservoirs.

The area is perfect for leisurely lakeside afternoons or wandering through morning markets in villages hiding below rocky cliffs.
